OtoBlade is designed for offline use. This policy describes how the app handles information on your device.

Information you choose to use

Audio, video, subtitles, notes, and practice records are created or imported by you for use in OtoBlade.

Microphone recording

If you choose to record, OtoBlade uses microphone access to capture audio for the recording and learning features. Recordings are processed and stored locally on your device. Recording features are unavailable if you do not grant microphone permission.

Local storage

Your content and app settings are stored locally on your device. OtoBlade does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Backup and restore

You can export a backup to a location you choose and later restore it in OtoBlade. Backup files remain on your device or in the destination you select.

File sharing

Files in OtoBlade’s Documents folder can be accessed, copied, exported, or managed through the Files app, Finder, or another app you choose. These actions are initiated by you. Copies you export or give to another app or service are governed by that destination’s privacy policy and are not automatically deleted when you delete data in OtoBlade.

Network use

If you choose to enable Wi-Fi features, your device communicates only with devices on the same local network.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. OtoBlade does not receive or store payment card details, and it does not send your audio or learning content to Apple for purchases.

Retention and deletion

You can delete imported and created content from OtoBlade. The Settings page also provides Delete All Data when content is present.
